Help with sliding an image from the top of a stack

I'd want to make a stack of photos similar to the one on the Spotify design website here //spotify.design

and clear them one after the other by the use of a timer.

I've searched around but have come up empty-handed.

I'd be grateful if someone could send me a tutorial or some form of assistance.
